Hofele has launched a new tuning kit, this time for the Mercedes-Benz GLE, giving the mid-size German SUV a very Maybach-ish flair.
The kit is based on the 450 model but available for the entire range, from the 300d right up to the 63. Visually, this is one seriously flashy proposal, thanks mainly to that two-tone paint finish that combines Obsidian Black with Tiffany Gold.
Look beyond the special color combo and you will see other aftermarket parts, including a front grille with vertical slats and chrome accents.

More chrome can be seen in the redesigned front bumper, as well as on the hood and at the back. The quad exhaust tips and 23-inch forged alloy wheels, with a turbine shape and polished surface, finished in light gold, complete the design.
Open the door and you will see that almost every touchable surface has been reupholstered, with the German tuner using fine Nappa leather and Alcantara. The company’s logo has been applied to the seatbacks and was also embedded into the rear headrest pillows – the gold piping follows a similar color scheme.
This tuned GLE can only sit four, as the rear bench has been replaced by two individual seats, separated by a center console. Even the luggage compartment has been modified, as it now features a high-gloss wooden floor with aluminum trim. Elsewhere, this GLE sports the latest technology gear, including the MBUX infotainment system and two tablets attached to the headrests. Meanwhile, visual comfort is enhanced by the sunroof and ambient lighting.
