The Ferrari 488 Pista is one of Maranello’s most critically-acclaimed offerings. It was launched in 2018 and was influenced by the 488 GTE and 488 Challenge race variants.
Ferrari made sure to make the 488 Pista into something truly remarkable, hence the total output of 710 HP (720 PS) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque courtesy of its 3.9-liter twin turbocharged V8. It also weighs 200 lbs (91 kg) less than the regular 488 GTB.
Since it’s significantly lighter and more powerful than the model on which it is based, the Pista can accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.85 seconds. Push on and 124 mph (200 km/h) comes in 7.6 seconds, while top speed is rated at 211 mph (340 km/h).
As for why this car is being sold by Romans International for £389,950 ($486,000), well, it has everything to do with the spec and the low mileage factor.

According to the ad, the car has just 51 miles (82 km) on the clock and it’s still under warranty until March of 2024, while also benefiting from Ferrari’s 7-year Servicing Package until March of 2027.
Moreover, this is a Ferrari Atelier car featuring £144,000 ($180,000) worth of options, which is why it looks rather bespoke and not like your “usual” Pista. The exterior is drenched in Extracampionario ‘Verde Scuro’ and sports 20-inch dark forged wheels and a Grigio Ingrid two-tone stripe.
Inside, there’s green carbon fiber pretty much everywhere and, if you look close, you’ll see that this is actually a different type of green, dubbed Verde Bottiglia.
Options include a high-power Hi-Fi system, racing seat lifter, suspension lifter, Apple CarPlay, AFS, a green Prancing Horse stitched on the headrests, front and rear parking cameras, a Tricolor leather central stripe on the seats, Tricolor F1 button housings, steering wheel with Tricolor livery and loads more.
Is it worth nearly half a million dollars though? Considering its specs, we’d be tempted to say “yes”; then again, it’s not us that will put out money where out mouth is, but this world’s millionaires.
