The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ broke records last year when it hit a top speed of 304.773 mph (490.484 km/h).

The company is now celebrating that accomplishment with an exclusive watch which probably costs more than your car.

Jointly created by Bugatti and Jacob & Co, the Twin Turbo Furious 300+ exudes “extreme performance, true luxury, unrivalled beauty and exceptional craftsmanship.”

The luxury watch features a forged carbon and black diamond-like carbon titanium case which is designed to echo the exposed carbon fiber bodywork on the recording breaking hypercar. The watch also has orange accents, white lettering and a translucent cover which provides a glimpse of the mechanisms hidden underneath.

Speaking of the latter, Bugatti says the watch has two accelerated triple axis tourbillons which “work together to compensate for the effects of gravity on the precision of the movement.” There’s also a decimal minute repeater and a mono-pusher chronograph with a reference time.

According to Bugatti President Stephan Winkelmann, “In Jacob & Co. we have found a partner, who understands the way we see exclusivity and how every object carrying the Bugatti name has to combine extreme power and the most sophisticated technology with pure luxury and the unmistakable Bugatti aesthetics and elegance.”

Only three Twin Turbo Furious 300+ watches will be built and this makes it even rarer than the Chiron Super Sport 300+ which is limited to 30 units. There’s no word on how much the watch will cost, but the previous Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon cost $280,000 (£223,356 / €249,326).
