Mercedes introduced the facelifted E-Class back in March and now the company is turning its attention to the E63.
Set to debut on June 18th at 2:00 p.m. CEST (8 a.m EST), the sedan and wagon promise to offer an “enhanced driving experience with an updated exterior design, upgraded interior with the AMG-specific MBUX infotainment system, fine-tuned chassis and optimized aerodynamics.”
While the single teaser image isn’t very revealing, the facelifted model has been spied multiple times and even caught undisguised. These pictures reveal the car will have a new front fascia with a Panamericana grille that is flanked by restyled headlights. The model will also be equipped with slimmer taillights and a modestly revised rear bumper.

Moving into the cabin, we can expect a new steering wheel and an updated MBUX infotainment system with a 12.3-inch display. There could also be some minor trim and upholstery changes.
Under the hood, there should be a familiar twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 563 hp (420 kW / 571 PS) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. It should be connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission which sends power to a performance-oriented all-wheel drive system with variable torque distribution. This setup should enable the E63 to rocket from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in approximately 3.5 seconds.
Customers can also look forward to an E 63 S which features an upgraded engine developing 603 hp (450 kW / 612 PS) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. Thanks to the extra power, the dash to 62 mph (100 km/h) should come a tenth of a second quicker.
