A rare 2004 TVR Tuscan S believed to be the only example in the United States has hit the market with an asking price of $99,750.
The TVR Tuscan Speed Six was manufactured by the British car manufacturer between 1999 and 2006 and sold in a number of different variations. As this is a post-2003 Tuscan S model, it is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter inline-six engine producing an impressive 400 hp and 315 lb-ft (427 Nm) of torque. The Tuscan was only ever sold with a five-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels and this one is no different.
The British sports car was quite a performer and tests conducted back in the day revealed it could hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 4 seconds.

Celebrity Cars Las Vegas who is selling the car says it was purchased as a one-owner car from the UK and imported into the United States through a short-lived loophole. It is the only known Tuscan S in the United States and has never been wrecked or damaged. Moreover, it is being sold with a clean North Carolina title and has just 9,000 miles (14,484 km) under its belt.
While an asking price of almost $100,000 is quite a lot for the performance the Tuscan S offers, it’s not unreasonable considering the car’s rarity. However, would-be buyers should be aware that repair bills if anything is to go wrong might prove expensive due to a scarcity of parts on this side of the pond.
