If you really want to pimp out your car, no such project is complete without fitting TV screens in your doors. Not only that, but TV screens that face the road. Or at least this is what some people seem to think.

Just when we thought the car customizing scene of fitting vehicles with massive spinners, flashy grilles, and bizarre wraps/paintjobs was over, this photo caught our attention.

The car you’re looking at is a Mercedes-Benz R-Class that looks like it came right out of an episode of Pimp My Ride. This photo was shared on Reddit and shows the R-Class parked up on the side of the road, somewhere in the United States.

First, we have to talk about the TV screens. While the idea of fitting TV screens to the back of front-seat headrests makes sense if you want to keep passengers in the rear entertained, we can’t think of a logical reason why any car needs TV screens on the outside of the doors. Not only do they serve no functional or practical purpose but when switched off, they simply look like random black squares, ruining the lines of the car.

It’s not just the TVs that make this R-Class odd. It is sitting on a set of massive gold wheels that appear to be spinners and are wrapped in low-profile tires. There is also a chrome gold front grille and a very odd blue/green/gold exterior finish. Parked just in front of the R-Class is an equally-as-disturbing Jaguar XJ.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a pimped out car with TV screens in the doors as the Dodge Charger in the video below is quite similar.
