An image has surfaced online previewing the tubular doors the 2021 Ford Bronco will be available with.
The photo you see was uncovered by fans of the new off-roader while searching through all the options of the soon-to-be-released online configurator. It confirms that even once you remove the standard doors of the Bronco, shoppers will still be able to have some kind of protection.
Bronco6G uncovered this photo. While it simply shows the black tubular doors placed on top of the regular doors, that’s not how they would look in real life. Instead, the tubular doors will sit in place of the standard doors and use a handful of bolts to be installed and removed. It remains unclear if these doors will be an optional extra or if they can be ordered instead of the regular doors. We suspect the former option is the most likely.

This isn’t the first time we have heard about or seen tubular doors for the 2021 Bronco. Last year, patent drawings emerged online that previewed the Bronco fitted with tubular doors that actually included an airbag. It is impossible to say for sure if the tubular doors depicted in this new photo do indeed have airbags within but it’s possible they do.
An additional door style will also be offered for the Bronco. Pictured below, the door includes a large cut-out, not too dissimilar to the cut-out on the doors of the McLaren Senna.
It is unclear when the official online configurator for the 2021 Bronco will launch but we expect to see it go live in the coming months.
