The coronavirus pandemic has delayed the introduction of countless vehicles including the Ford Bronco and GMC Hummer EV.
Now, it’s delaying the launch of the highly anticipated Genesis G80 and GV80. Both models were set to go on sale in the United States this summer, but the company has confirmed their launch has been pushed back to this fall due to “COVID-19 related delays.”
This is obviously a blow for Genesis as the GV80 is the brand’s first crossover and sales of the current G80 have tanked. However, it’s not all bad news as the company has received more than 14,500 reservations for the upcoming models.
