The Jaguar F-Pace SVR will be making a comeback for the facelifted iteration of the premium compact SUV, which is currently in development.
Spied doing the usual rounds on the Nurburgring, this is probably the best-sounding model in its class, with a burbling V8. A BMW X3 M and Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 challenger, the 2021 F-Pace SVR will, in all likelihood, continue to pack a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine.

Details surrounding the specs of the refreshed variant are unknown, but in the current model it’s good for 542 HP (550 PS / 404 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque. The four-wheel drive sporty SUV features an eight-speed automatic transmission, does the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.3 seconds (0-60 mph in 4.1 sec) and maxes out at 176 mph (283 km/h).
The updated F-Pace SVR will continue to stand out from lesser versions with a beefed up body kit consisting of big bumpers front and rear, more pronounced spoilers and a diffuser that has cutouts for the quad exhaust pipes. Scooped prototypes also had large wheels and upgraded brakes. The headlamps and taillights will be revised, as will the grille.
Unless something throws a wrench in JLR’s plans, the facelifted F-Pace should premiere before the end of the year, followed at some point by the range-topping SVR.
