While more and more new car buyers on the hunt for something fast, luxurious and practical are opting for SUVs, we have a soft spot for super estates such as the Audi RS6 Avant.
In standard form, the latest-generation RS6 Avant is rated at 591 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque thanks to a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with mild-hybrid technology. As this V8 has been used widely within the VW Group in recent years, tuning companies are familiar with it and a host of upgrade packages can dramatically increase performance without impacting reliability.

In fact, a series of modifications lift its powertrain up to 730 hp and 679 lb-ft (920 Nm) of torque, allowing it to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in roughly 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
The following video from Auditography provides us with an up-close look of a grey RS6-R from ABT that has been outfitted with a heap of visual alterations to complement the engine upgrades.
The exterior changes are particularly visible at the front, where the Audi sports a carbon fiber front splitter with aero blades on either side. In addition, the car runs on a set of aftermarket wheels and at the rear, features a custom exhaust system, rear diffuser and an intriguing split rear spoiler stretching out from the roof.
