Aston Martin Is Selling The Very First DB4 GT Continuation

Aston Martin launched their Continuation program three years ago with the DB4 GT Continuation, which was limited to just 25 units.

Now the company is offering the very first DB4 GT Continuation ever built.

Featuring only “delivery miles,” this modern-day DB4 GT has a Snow Shadow Grey exterior with a hand-painted triple stripe as well as “all the usual racing accoutrements” associated with the model.

Since the car was designed to mirror original, which was launched in 1959, it has an aluminum body mounted on top of a tubular frame. While the car benefits from “state-of-the-art digital technology,” the bodywork was hand-finished just like the original.

One thing that certainly isn’t original is the carbon fiber bucket seats.  However, the rest of the interior is more period correct.

Speaking of which, the car has a 4.2-liter straight-six engine that features two spark plugs per cylinder. It produces 345 hp (257 kW / 350 PS) and is connected to a four-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential.

The company didn’t say how much they’re selling the car for, but Aston Martin Works President Paul Spires stated “This particular car is special not only by virtue of being the first Continuation car built for a customer but also, today, for having such a low recorded mileage.” He added it should “attract very significant interest from potential owners around the world.”
