Former Jaguar designer Ian Callum and Switzerland-based R-Reforged have revealed the production version of their first joint project: the Aston Martin Callum Vanquish 25 by R-Reforged.
The production model debuts only nine months after the project was announced, with customer car production to begin in September. Compared to the concept shown last year, the Callum Vanquish 25 features a revised interior, more trim options and a final chassis and powertrain set up.
Compared to the donor car, the original Aston Martin Vanquish built between 2001 and 2007, the Callum Vanquish 25 features over 350 engineering, material and design changes.

For starters, the driving experience has been improved via highly retuned rebound and compression of the Bilstein dampers for more agility and control. Engineers also fitted new bushings, stiffer anti-roll bars and specific Michelin Pilot Sport tires for linearity in roll and composure without the rock-solid track feel of most contemporary GTs. The car also sits 10 mm (0.39 in) lower than before and has an up to 60 mm (2.3 in) wider track.
The steering has also been improved thanks to the fitting of a more slender wheel rim, the lower seating position and suspension improvements, offering a sharper feel and more feedback. Overall, the Callum Vanquish 25 is said to be a more versatile GT suitable for everyday use.
Ian Callum has also made subtle changes to the Vanquish’s design, including a revised front bumper featuring a bigger lower grille and side air intakes. The rear bumper is subtly updated, as are the headlights and taillights rejuvenated with LEDs. Customers can have the Callum Vanquish 25 is an infinite number of body colors, eight exterior trims, and three bespoke 20-inch wheel choices.
Inside, the sumptuous leather trim is provided by Bridge of Weir Leather Company, while Bremont’s removable pocket watch dominates the dashboard that now includes brushed or polished dark chrome details, and a walnut veneer option instead of carbon. The car also comes with a Mulberry luggage set designed to fit snugly in the rear of the cabin.
Power comes from an upgraded 5.9-liter V12 engine that makes 580 HP, 60 HP more than the stock Vanquish. The power plant has gained a bespoke carbon intake system and tuned equal length stainless steel primary collectors. Furthermore, the engine bay has been detailed with carbon and leather dressing.
R-Reforged will build just 25 examples of the bespoke GT, with the first of them entering production in September for customers in Europe and Latin America.
