In the immediate aftermath of the crash, a woman can be seen emerging from the wreck. Curiously, she can be seen climbing up and standing atop a fence at the dealership before fleeing the scene. It is believed the woman caught on camera was the passenger.
News Channel 8 reports that the driver was pulled from the wrecked car was taken to hospital by the fire rescue team that arrived on the scene. He was then transported to a hospital and, according to the report, is in a stable condition.
A significant amount of damage was sustained to both the white Cadillac being driven by the man and the black pickup truck that it hit. The owner of the dealership says a total of six vehicles were hit, and the damage is estimated at $100,000.
The police said they are aware of the woman who fled the scene and are yet to determine if alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
