Aftermarket company AG Motorsports has unveiled some carbon fiber add-ons it has developed for the C8 Corvette.
From the factory, the 2020 Corvette was available with the ‘Visible Carbon Fiber Ground Effects’ package for $4,850. These parts didn’t just look cool but were also said to improve aerodynamics. However, due to a supplier issue, Chevrolet was forced to remove the option after just a few months on sale.

Well, you can always count on aftermarket companies to fill the void. In May, carbon fiber specialist SpeedKore announced its carbon aero kit for the C8 priced at $4,562. AG Motorsports has since joined the party and is undercutting its rival by offering its carbon parts for just $2,598.
AG Motorsports’ parts are made using pre-preg carbon fiber and include a pair of side skirts and a front splitter. These parts have a dramatic impact on the overall look of the C8 Corvette and come pre-drilled and with double-sided tape for easy installation. The tuner says the kit takes just 30 minutes to install, while shipping is free to the lower 48 states in the U.S.
These parts aren’t the only ones developed by AG Motorsport. According to a separate page on its website, it is also working on creating an all carbon fiber high wing for the C8 Corvette that mimics the look of the high wing spoiler offered from the factory. Pricing for the spoiler has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be released this fall.
