A handful of patent images have surfaced online, appearing to show a one-off Rolls-Royce.
These patents were filed with the intellectual property office of Brazil in March 2020, having been previous filed in Germany on September 18, 2019. The images depict a Rolls-Royce model unlike any other on the market, prompting speculation that it is a one-off commission-built special to follow on from the Sweptail of a few years ago.
The vehicle is a two-door coupe which may mean it is based on the Wraith. However, if that is the case, a lot of work has been done to alter its design to look vastly different than the Wraith, and any other Rolls-Royce for that matter.

Located up front is a familiar grille similar in proportions to that of the Wraith’s grille. Sitting alongside the grille are slim headlights and secondary round driving lights. There is also a lower grille section in the bumper.
Cast your eyes to the sides and you will notice large rear-hinged doors and an elongated roofline that includes a pair of flying buttresses. Rather than the roof continuing to swoop down into the decklid like on the Wraith, the roof tapers off and makes way for a flat deck that is seemingly clad in wood. Also visible at the rear end are thin horizontal taillights in these patents posted by the TaycanEVForum.
The emergence of these patents comes just a month after CarScoops published a teaser image of a potential new one-off Rolls-Royce model. That vehicle also appeared to be a two-door coupe but a handful of differences lead us to believe we’re not dealing with the same car.
