MG has launched the facelifted ZS crossover in the United Kingdom.

Looking a bit Mazda-like, the updated model is described as a “fantastic evolution” of its predecessor.

On the styling front, the crossover has been equipped with a revised grille and new LED headlights. The model also adopts a sportier front bumper and new fog lights.

The styling changes continue out back as there is a more aggressive bumper and new taillights. The model also features restyled wheels, additional body-color components and faux aluminum accents.

Moving into the cabin, drivers will find a new digital instrument cluster in the range-topping Exclusive trim. However, all models gain a larger infotainment system with 10.1-inch display as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Elsewhere, designers gave the ZS a revised dashboard with more soft touch materials. The model also has new switchgear, revised trim and a new front armrest.

Motivation is provided by a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 105 hp (78 kW / 106 PS) and 104 lb-ft (175 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed manual which sends power to the front wheels.

As you can imagine, the performance isn’t great as the dash to 60 mph (96 km/h) takes 10.4 seconds and top speed is just 109 mph (175 km/h). On the bright side, the model has a combined fuel economy rating of 41.4 mpg UK (6.8 L/100 km) in the WLTP cycle.

The facelifted MG ZS is currently on sale and pricing starts at £15,495 OTR.
