The facelifted BMW M5 Competition has all the right ingredients to be an absolute winner and in this video, we get to see the super sedan in more detail than ever before.

This clip was filmed at a BMW dealership in the Netherlands and shows a 2021 M5 Competition painted in Donington Grey. Much like the pre-facelift model, the exterior design is relatively subtle and isn’t too extravagant or in-your-face. To non-car enthusiasts, it probably looks just like any regular 5-Series.

Inside, this M5 features Merino Black leather and a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System. It has a host of nice luxuries, including a configurable ambient lighting system, a large infotainment screen, and a digital instrument cluster. It may not be quite the tech feast of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, but we’re sure it is a very nice place to sit.

Like the pre-facelift model, the new one is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 that is good for 592 hp and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) in normal guise or 617 hp and 553 lb-ft in M5 Competition spec. That is enough to send the flagship variant to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 3.3 seconds and through to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Those wanting to hit higher speeds can opt for the M Driver’s Package that increases the vmax to 189 mph (305 km/h).

Prices for the 2021 M5 start at $103,500 in the United States, while the M5 Competition is priced from $111,100.
