As we inch closer to the debut of the long-awaited Ford Bronco, tuning company Hennessey Performance is already promising a slew of upgrades for the SUV.
While we already have a good idea of what to expect with the new Bronco, the truth is that we won’t discover all the ins and outs about it until July 13, including the powertrains it will be offered with and just how much grunt it will offer up. Nevertheless, Hennessey knows what it will need to do to make the new Bronco even faster and more capable.

The Texas tuner has revealed it will develop a high-flow air induction system for the Bronco as well as an upgraded intercooler, stainless steel exhaust system, aftermarket suspension parts, enlarged off-road tires and wheels, and other modifications. Based on what we know of Hennessey, it is reasonable to assume it will also develop other off-road-focused parts for the SUV as well as outfitting the interior with a host of bespoke touches.

It was recently confirmed that after the Bronco’s unveiling, the car manufacturer will start accepting $100 reservations for the SUV for customers to save their spot in line. With a Bronco locked in, buyers will later be able to configure their Bronco and work with a local dealership to complete the transaction. The deposit is fully refundable.
At least two different engines are expected to be available. The entry-level engine is tipped to be a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 270 hp and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque. Sitting above it in the family will likely be a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 delivering 325 hp and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque.
