Mopar has launched a selection of parts for the new Jeep Renegade 4xe and Compass 4xe even before the two plug-in hybrid SUVs arrive at dealers across Europe in September.
Designed to highlight their electrified nature, the blue styling accents are among the features that can be found in Mopar’s catalogue. These include the blue looks for the side mirror caps, logos, ring around the seven-slot grille and exclusive floor mats.

The whole pack will be available at Jeep’s European dealerships and online at Mopar starting this fall, and while somewhat modest for what they usually release, the offerings will eventually grow to include in excess of 100 accessories, “each designed to enhance the double urban and off-road personality of the new 4xe models”, Mopar states.
Both the Renegade and Compass plug-in hybrids combine a 1.3-liter turbo-four with two electric motors, an 11.4 kWh battery pack and a six-speed automatic transmission. The internal combustion engine is offered in two outputs, with 128 HP (130 PS / 96 kW) and 177 HP (180 PS / 132 kW), with the combined system output being 187 HP (190 PS / 140 kW) and 237 HP (240 PS / 177 kW) respectively.
When running on electric power alone, Jeep expects the two models to have a range of 31 miles (50 km) in the NEDC2 cycle, with a top speed of 81 mph (130 km/h). Recharging the battery with the entry-level Wallbox takes less than 5 hours, but upgrade to the 7.4 kW charger and see the time drop to 100 minutes. Drivers can also manage the charging directly from the vehicle or remotely, via the dedicated smartphone app.
