The Porsche Taycan is arguably one of the best-looking electric vehicles on sale today but it could soon become all the more attractive with the arrival of the Cross Turismo variant.
Recently filmed cruising down a highway in Europe, the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo will essentially be a sporty wagon version of the EV. This particular prototype has just a thin veil of camouflage and while it covers up some of the small design details, it cannot hide the overall shape of the car.
The Taycan Cross Turismo enjoys an elongated roof and a steeply sloped rear window. Not only does this new style look good but it will make the Porsche all that more practical by increasing cargo capacity.

Porsche first provided the world with a glimpse of the Taycan Cross Turismo when it unveiled the Mission E Cross Turismo Concept back in 2018. However, unlike that concept which had a ‘rugged’ design with jacked-up suspension and off-road tires, the production-spec model will be focused on on-road performance.
In all likelihood, the same powertrain specifications of the sedan will carry through to the Cross Turismo. Consequently, the range should start out with the 4S variant that sports a pair of electric motors good for 523 hp and 472 lb-ft (640 Nm) of torque when mated to the entry-level battery pack. Those looking for the ultimate in performance will be offered the Turbo and Turbo S models, pumping out 671 hp / 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) and 751 hp / 774 lb-ft (1050 Nm) of torque respectively.
