The Ferrari SF90 Stradale was recently driven by a handful of journalists, and as we eagerly await to see the first video reviews, Motorsport Magazine has dropped this acceleration video of the plug-in hybrid supercar.
Ferrari’s SF90 Stradale represents the absolute pinnacle of the Italian car manufacturer’s production car technology that promises to offer performance on par with the LaFerrari for significantly less money.
The official word from Ferrari is that the SF90 Stradale hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.5 seconds and 124 mph (200 km/h) in 6.7 seconds while storming through to a 211 mph (340 km/h) top speed. While accelerating down the main straight at Ferrari’s Fiorano test track, those numbers seem totally plausible.

Running in seemingly perfect conditions, the SF90 Stradale experiences absolutely no wheel spin off the line, helped in no small part by the fact that the car is all-wheel drive. It appears to hit 62 mph in as little as 2.3 seconds and may have surpassed 124 mph (200 km/h) in less than 6.5 seconds. To put that into perspective, Ferrari’s official word is that the LaFerrari can hit 124 mph in “less than 7 seconds” but likely isn’t quite as accelerative as the SF90 Stradale.
Powering the SF90 Stradale is a mid-mounted 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with no less than 769 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. The car also utilizes an electric motor mounted between the V8 and the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while two further electric motors power the front axle, for a total combined output of 986 hp.
