This is the 2021 Subaru WRX Club Spec Limited Edition, a special model capped at just 150 units that’s exclusive to the Australian market.
It is no secret the current Subaru WRX and WRX STI models are getting a little long in the tooth, and in Australia, the WRX Club Spec Limited Edition will likely be one of, if not the, final variant before the current model is replaced.
Inside, the Japanese automaker has fitted Recaro sports bucket seats up front as well as an STI steering wheel finished in Ultrasuede. Additionally, the Club Spec Limited Edition comes standard with an 8-speaker Harman Kardon audio system complete with a subwoofer and amplifier – oh, and it also has badging denoting it as a special edition.

Like regular WRX models, the Club Spec Limited Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine with 264 hp and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque, and despite not being any faster than a normal WRX, it comes at a premium. In fact, prices for the six-speed manual start at AU$47,990 (US$34,472) plus on-road costs, while the CVT auto costs AU$50,490 (US$36,267) plus on-road costs. That means the six-speed manual is AU$7,500 (US$5,387) more than a regular WRX.
