Toyota has announced the pricing and specifications for the 2021 Sequoia lineup, which for the new model year has gained a new Nightshade Edition. As a reminder, Toyota has been churning out Nightshade editions like there’s no tomorrow, including for the Tundra, Avalon sedan, and Tacoma.

Offered with two- and all-wheel drive from $60,120 and $63,345 respectively, the special edition is based on the mid-spec Limited grade and features darkened chrome badging, lower grille, fog lamp surrounds and body moldings.

Available in Midnight Black Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Blizzard Pearl, the Sequoia Nightshade is offered with seating for up to seven, black leather upholstery and the full equipment specification of the Limited trim, including heated front seats, electric tailgate, a 7-inch touchscreen display, etc.

The Toyota Safety Sense P suite is standard on every trim level of the Sequoia, bringing safety gear such as lane departure alert with sway warning, pre-collision with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar cruise control, automatic high beams, blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert.

Another update for the 2021 model year is the introduction of a new color for the Sequoia TRD Pro. This version of the high-rider can now be had in Lunar Rock, a shade that replaces the Army Green in the color palette and joins the existing Super White, Midnight Black Metallic and Magnetic Gray Metallic.

The most affordable 2021 Sequoia on sale is the 4×2 SR5, which has an MSRP of $50,100. The four-wheel drive version starts at $53,325 while, at $69,375, the Platinum 4×4 remains the most expensive variant.

Power is still provided by the 5.7-liter V8 with 381 HP (386 PS / 284 kW) at 5,600 rpm and 401 pound-feet (544 Nm) of torque at 3,600 rpm that’s paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.
