Just hours after the long-awaited 2021 Ram 1500 TRX was unveiled, the official online configurator for the Ford F-150 Raptor-rival has gone live.
The Ram 1500 TRX is not cheap. In fact, it starts at $69,995 excluding a $1,695 destination charge, but this figure quickly grows once you start ticking some boxes.
For starters, buyers can opt between either the Level 1 Equipment Group or the Level 2 Equipment Group, priced at $3,420 and $7,920 respectively. Both the Level 1 and Level 2 packages include things like accent lighting, body-color door handles, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, leather-trimmed bucket seats, 8-way power driver and passenger seats, adjustable pedals, and rain-sensitive wipers. The Level 2 adds features including Blind-Spot and Cross-Path detection, driver-seat memory, memory wing mirrors, heated second-row seats, Park Sense Front and Rear Park-Assist with Stop, adjustable pedals with memory functions, and a wireless charging pad.

Other available options include the $1,295 TRX Carbon Fiber Package, $995 Advanced Safety Group, $1,095 Technology Group, $845 Bed Utility Group, and the $395 Trailer-Tow Group.
As for the color palette, there are six options on offer, with our perfect TRX finished in Hydro-Blue Pearl Coat with Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat bumpers and accents. You can also opt for 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels from Mopar to replace the standard black rims.
Should you get particularly happy ticking all the available options, the TRX can be specced out to just over $100,000 – which, depending on your point of view, is way too much for a pickup truck, or not that unreasonable for a pickup truck with 702 hp and lots of gear.
