There have been rumors surrounding the purchase of a Bugatti Centodieci by Cristiano Ronaldo earlier this year, and now those rumors seem to have been confirmed.
The Italian media reports that the soccer star has completed the purchase of the ultra-exclusive, expensive and fast French hypercar, which was apparently ordered in black and white to celebrate Juventus winning this year’s championship.

According to TuttoSport, which is one of the many publications that have reported on the topic, CR7, who is the owner of a jaw-dropping exotic car collection that counts, among others, the Veyron and the Chiron, should take delivery of the Centodieci next year.
Until official confirmation, we will take the alleged information with the proverbial grain of salt, though we have reached out to Bugatti (again), and got the same reply stating that they do not comment on individual buyers, but “Ronaldo is part of the Bugatti family”.
Unveiled last summer as a celebration of Ettore Bugatti’s 110th birthday, the Centodieci is inspired by the EB110 and is based on the Chiron. It is 44 lbs (20 kg) lighter than the latter and a bit more powerful, with its 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 putting out 1,577 HP (1,600 PS / 1,177 kW), or 99 HP (100 PS / 74 kW) more than in the Chiron. The extra oomph gives it the ability to sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.4 seconds and up to a top speed electronically limited to 236 mph (380 km/h).
Production is limited to just 10 units, and all of them were spoken for before the grand unveiling, in spite of the $9.4 million (€8 million) starting price.
