Here’s another 2020 BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe model for your viewing pleasure, specced with BMW Individual options both inside and out.
The car was photographed at BMW Abu Dhabi, rocking a stylish BMW Individual Ametrin Metallic paint ($1,950) to go with the optional M Carbon Pack ($5,400), which does its best work on the air vent surrounds, side vents, grille, mirror caps and rear diffuser. The boot lid spoiler and carbon roof are both part of the same package, while the 20-inch M Star bi-color wheels add further contrast and road presence.
Inside, there’s fine grain BMW Individual Merino Silverstone/Black leather upholstery, mixing it up with the carbon fiber trim on the center console. It’s a sporty yet quite opulent combination, certainly worthy of a car that costs upwards of $143,000 in the United States.

Other options include the $8,150 M Carbon Ceramic brakes, which is a pricey addition but you should definitely consider them for a car that’s got 617 HP (625 PS) courtesy of a 4.4-liter twin turbocharged V8. The engine also puts down 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque and is coupled to an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system.
As far as performance is concerned, the M8 Competition Gran Coupe will take you to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3 seconds flat, although you’ll need to watch your right foot if you want to get anywhere near its EPA-estimated 21 mpg (11.2 l/100km).
The BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe is a direct rival for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, but you can also compare it (like we did in this poll) to the Audi RS7 Sportback or the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Turbo S E-Hybrid.
