An entry-level variant of the 2021 Jaguar I-Pace has been quietly introduced in the German market dubbed the EV320 SE.
In Germany, prices for the I-Pace EV320 SE start at €64,957 ($76,631), well below the €75,351 ($88,893) starting price of the EV400 S.
The model, which will only be available until the end of 2020, slots below the EV400 S in the range. It uses the same 90 kWh battery as all other I-Pace models but the electric motors have been recalibrated so they now pump out a combined 316 hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque.

The reduction in power means the EV320 SE will require 6.4 seconds to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) compared to the 4.8 seconds needed by the EV400 S. The electric SUV’s top speed has also been capped at 112 mph (180 km/h), below the 124 mph (200 km/h) top speed of the 400. Interestingly, the EV320 SE’s range remains unchanged at 292 miles (470 km).
As its name suggests, the limited-run model comes standard with the SE equipment package that’s an optional extra on the EV400 S. This kit includes 20-inch wheels with a distinctive six-spoke design, an electric tailgate, electric folding and heated exterior mirrors, LED headlights, and 14-way adjustable sports seats with grained leather and memory functions. The SUV also lands with blind spot monitoring and other driving assists. It benefits from all the same styling updates as the rest of the 2021 I-Pace, including the brand’s Pivi Pro infotainment system with two touchscreens.
