Osprey Custom Cars has just unveiled its latest creation: a 1997 Land Rover Defender NAS Wagon.
According to the customization shop, the owner of this Defender that’s finished in a shade of Arles Blue and complete with an Alpine White roof, asked for the iconic off-roader to be significantly upgraded and restored. Osprey has done just that.
For starters, the Defender is now rocking a 5.3-liter GM V8 rated at 326 hp and 348 lb-ft (472 Nm) of torque that’s coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, the Defender now features a heavy-duty transfer case as well as rebuilt heavy-duty front and rear axles.

Lots of work has also been done to the cabin. New grey upholstery is found throughout with heated seats up front and side-facing seats at the rear. Other modifications made include a custom center console with cupholders, USB ports, and wireless charging pads, rear air conditioning, upgraded doors with power front windows, ambient lighting, a custom six-speaker audio system with an amplifier, new carpets, and heavy-duty floor mats. Completing the changes is an alarm system as well as keyless entry and remote start.
