A huge crash involving a white Nissan and a Tesla Model X has been caught on dashcam – and it is really horrifying.
The crash happened in South Abington Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania and the dashcam shows a white Nissan Sentra speeding into view and slamming into the rear-quarter of a Tesla Model X that was waiting at a traffic light.
In the moments before the Nissan hit the Tesla, a rear-facing dashcam appears to show the white sedan skip over a curb and a strip of grass, propelling it into the air before it smashed into the dark blue Tesla.
The impact was so severe that the Sentra flipped over onto its roof before sliding back onto its wheels. Meanwhile, the Model X was pushed into the air and the driver’s side rear quarter was destroyed. The crash also saw one of the falcon-wing doors slowly pop up.
It is claimed that the driver of the Nissan was able to exit their vehicle through the windshield and had a number of cuts to his head, while a female passenger in the Tesla is also said to have suffered some minor injuries. Fortunately, paramedics quickly arrived on the scene.
