The official trailer for Project Cars 3 has just been released three weeks before the racing game launches on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 28.

Whereas other racing games like Gran Turismo 7 and the new Forza Motorsport are being readied for the next-generation of consoles, Project Cars 3 is exclusive to the current generation of gaming machinery.

Produced by Slightly Mad Studios, the latest installment in the Project Cars franchise looks to be more arcade-esque than Project Cars 1 and 2, which were more in the realm of sims.

In this trailer, we are presented with a plethora of cars, including the modern-day Porsche 935 and 911 GT3 RS, Koenigsegg Jesko, Toyota Supra, and more. There will be more than 200 cars available in Project Cars 3, including over a dozen Ferraris and no less than 27 Porsche models, making it the single largest manufacturer in the game.

Project Cars 3 will also feature a host of real-life tracks. Among them will be Brands Hatch, Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Circuit de Monaco, Circuit de Jerez, Fuji International Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Nurburgring, Silverstone, and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Many of these tracks will offer different layouts.

Like the two previous installments, there will be a comprehensive career mode for gamers to enjoy, working their way up through the ranks and competing in various “racing series”.
