Shelby American has introduced the new GT350 and GT500 Signature Editions.
Designed to enhance the “styling, performance and exclusivity” of the two pony cars, the post title package adds an assortment of goodies.
Starting with the GT500 Signature Edition, the model features a ventilated carbon fiber hood that weighs 30 lbs (13.6 kg) less than the stock component. The car also has stripes and 20-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in “performance spec tires.” Customers can also order options such as a widebody kit, a carbon fiber package and Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires.

Under the hood, the supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine has an upgraded supercharger pulley, a high-volume intercooler and an optimized heat exchanger. Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops an additional 40+ hp (30 kW / 41 PS) and this brings the output to 800+ hp (597 kW / 811 PS).
The performance changes don’t end there as package also includes upgraded half shafts as well as new springs and sway bars. There are also caster camber plates and a recalibrated suspension.
The GT500 SE package costs $29,995 and that excludes the base price of the GT500 as well as shipping to Las Vegas. Production will be limited to 100 units annually.
Likewise, the GT350 Signature Edition package costs $9,995 and it includes new springs and sway bars as well as caster camber plates.
