A car that enthusiasts have been waiting years for in the United States, the Audi RS6 Avant, has finally touched down on local shores.
The first ship carrying brand new 2021 RS6 Avant models to the States recently docked at the Port of Davisville in Rhode Island and Audi has shared a couple of photos of the cars sitting on the dock.
These images were first provided to Car and Driver with Audi sending them our way too. The RS6s pictured will start arriving at dealerships across the country in the coming weeks. It is unclear just how many units arrived with this first shipment, but an Audi representative has confirmed that they have “many” orders for the wagon.

Audi confirmed back in March that prices for the 2021 RS6 Avant will start at $109,995 in the United States, including a $995 destination charge.
Powering the latest RS6 Avant is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 592 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. This engine is coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission driving all four wheels, and can rocket the RS6 Avant to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds. The car’s top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h), but buyers who opt for the carbon ceramic brakes can also have the limiter lifted to 190 mph (305 km/h).
U.S. customers have a host of options they can select, including the Carbon Optic and Black Optic packages that add details like 22-inch wheels, a black front grille or carbon accents across the exterior.
