Infiniti is refreshing the Q50 range for the 2021 model year with the addition of a new grade, two new exterior color options, and more driver assist systems as standard.

Prices for the 2021 Infiniti Q50 start from $36,600 for the RWD model, $200 more than what you would have paid for the 2020 model, and the range consists of four trim levels: Pure, Luxe, Red Sport 400 in addition to the new Sensory.

The new Infiniti Q50 Sensory combines the more aggressive bumper design of the Red Sport 400 with the 300 HP variant of the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. In addition, the new trim level gets leather sports seats, a 16-speaker Bose audio system, black open-pore wood trim, and more.

The range-topping Q50 Red Sport 400, which is priced from $55,750, remains the only model in the range with a 400 HP version of the turbocharged V6 and is further distinguished visually by its unique exhaust finishers, red ‘S’ badging, red brake calipers and an exclusive set of 19-inch alloy wheels. For 2021, the range-topping Q50 Red Sport 400 also gets a new black matte carbon interior trim and exterior black detailing.

Infiniti has also added two new exterior color options – Slate Gray and Grand Blue – to the palette, which now offers a total of eight color choices. All models in the range now feature the ProAssist Package as standard, which includes Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning (now with haptic steering), Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Intelligent Cruise Control, Backup Collision Intervention, Distance Control Assist, and High Beam Assist.

A seven-speed automatic transmission remains the only option across the range of the 2021 Infiniti Q50 while the company also offers the drive-by-wire Direct Adaptive Steering system as an option to the Red Sport 400.

The 2021 Infiniti Q50 is available with both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive, the latter carrying a $2,000 premium.
