Mazda has announced pricing and specifications for the MX-30 range in the UK, which joins the already available First Edition model.
The lineup kicks off with the £28,545 ($36,369) SE-L Lux spec, which features 18-inch alloy wheels, black grille and side mirror caps, LED headlights, reversing camera, navigation system, head-up display, 7-inch display for the climate control, 7-inch TFT screen and Radar Cruise Control with Intelligent Speed Assist.

Carrying a £50 ($64) premium over the £30,495 ($38,853) First Edition, the Sport Lux adds different alloy wheels, auto-dimming interior (frameless) and driver’s side mirrors, rear privacy glass, smart keyless entry, chrome inserts, leatherette-wrapped heated front seats with electric adjustment and memory function for the driver, and a few other features.
The range-topping variant of the MX-30 is called the GT Sport Tech and brings signature LED taillights, power sunroof, heated steering wheel, Bose premium audio system, 360-degree cameras, Front Cross Traffic Alert, Driver Monitoring and Smart Brake Support with Rear Crossing in return for £32,845 ($41,847).
At 4,395 mm (173 in) long, 1,795 mm (70.7 in) wide and 1,555 mm (61.2 in) tall, with a 2,655 mm (104.5 in) long wheelbase, the MX-30 has room for up to five occupants. The electric motor, which is powered by a 35.5 kWh battery pack, generates 143 PS (141 HP / 105 kW) and 265 Nm (195 lb-ft) of torque. Supporting DC fast charging up to 50 kW, which can fill it up to 80 percent in 36 minutes, the electric crossover has a range of around 200 km (124 miles) in the WLTP cycle.
UK deliveries will commence next March for the 500-unit First Edition, followed by the full range.
