The new generation BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe will be uncovered on the 23rd this month, but the M4 Convertible is still a few months away, apparently, so until it breaks cover, Barracuda and their partners at Cardiologie have introduced a few aftermarket upgrades for the current model.
The most important tune concerns the twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine, which boasts a Stage 1 software optimization that has raised output from 425 HP (431 PS / 317 kW) to 513 HP (520 PS / 382 kW), and torque from 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) to 502 lb-ft (680 Nm).

The top speed limiter has also been removed, allowing the M4 to max out at over 300 km/h (186 mph), up from the stock car’s 250 km/h (155 mph). There is no reference to the new 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time, but the stock open-top M4 needs 4.4 seconds when equipped with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Now, as Barracuda is one of the companies behind the project, it is only natural that it sports its wheels. In this case, the 9×20-inch front and 10.5×20-inch rear rims, hugged by the 265/30 and 285/30 tires, respectively, are dubbed the Karizzma, and feature a Y-spoke pattern and matte black paint finish, a shade applied to the four tailpipes as well, which complements the rest of the exterior. In fact, the only contrasting accents are the blue brake calipers, a color also used for the stitching inside.
The final upgrade is the Eibach sport springs, which have improved the stance of the M4 Convertible by lowering its ride height.
