Aston Martin has teamed up with Curv Racing Simulators to unveil the limited edition AMR-C01, which the carmaker calls “the ultimate luxury home simulator,” aimed at Esports drivers.
The AMR-C01 features a full lightweight carbon fiber monocoque construction, a seating position that mirrors that of the Aston Martin Valkyrie and the latest Assetto Corsa software. First deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q4 of 2020.
Tasked with designing the sim was none other than the Aston Martin Design team, based at the carmaker’s Gaydon Headquarters. Meanwhile, the front end was actually shaped to invoke the signature Aston Martin Racing grille.

“This was a challenge for the design team as, although the simulator isn’t a car, it is inspired by our racing cars. It needed to exude the same elegance, boasting the same dynamic lines and balance of proportions as any Aston Martin with a racing lineage. I can picture the AMR-C01 in the most beautiful of residences as a sculptural work of art in its own right,” said the carmaker’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman.
Order books for the AMR-C01 are now open, with base pricing set at £57,500 ($74,000) plus tax. Only 150 units will ever be made, so whoever can afford to place this racing sim in their home should hurry up and place an order.
“Our goal was to create a simulator that provided as much enjoyment in virtual reality as real racing does. Racing cars is a lot of fun and it is great to see that with the growth of Esports racing, more people are now getting involved,” said Aston Martin works driver, Darren Turner, who is a simulator specialist.
