In order to celebrate the UAE market launch of BMW‘s latest G22 4-Series model, the carmaker’s Abu Dhabi affiliate decided to introduce a limited edition variant dubbed Dark Edition, featuring a Sapphire Black exterior.
The launch event took place last week at the glamorous Ritz-Carlton Grand Canal hotel in Abu Dhabi, which naturally is a 5-star location. This photo shoot also gives us another chance to see more of the latest 4-Series and its questionable massive nostrils.
Right off the bat, we can tell that this car is wearing BMW’s M Sport package, with BMW Individual Shadowline headlights and exterior inserts, mixing it up with the M Carbon package (mirror caps, front bumper elements, rear diffuser and trunk lid spoiler).

Other features include the 19-inch wheels, M Sport brakes with red calipers, and an elegant Vernasca Cognac leather interior, which houses the M Sport steering wheel, a Harman Kardon sound system, M Sport seat belts and a sunroof.
What’s interesting about this spec is that it actually helps that massive grille blend in better with the rest of the car, courtesy of the overall dark theme. So let us know if this car changes your opinion about the all-new 4-Series in any way.
As for the powertrain, seen as how this is a 430i model, it means that it’s got a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline unit, sending 254 HP (258 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque exclusively to the rear wheels. The BMW 430i can max out at 155 mph (250 km/h) and needs 5.8 seconds to get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h).
