If you’re used to a particular shade of green or blue when it comes to Alpina-tuned BMWs, then perhaps it’s time for something a little different.
This 2020 B3 Sedan displayed on the German tuner’s Facebook page is painted in Imola Red Metallic and it looks pretty interesting thanks to those black accents (grille and trunk lid lettering), with the black wheels and blue calipers adding even more contrast.
While this isn’t the most conservative-looking B3 we’ve ever seen, we reckon Alpina buyers should be able to get their cars in whatever color they want.

A genuine alternative to the M3, the 2020 B3 Sedan is powered by a re-engineered version of BMW‘s 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six that’s mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. Power and peak torque outputs sit at 455 HP (462 PS) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) respectively, and will help you hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.8 seconds. Top speed meanwhile is rated at 188 mph (303 km/h), making this one seriously fast 3-Series.
Other features include BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and a re-tuned suspension. Alpina adds a quad-pipe sports exhaust system, 20-inch wheels and a few changes to the interior such as the hand-stitched Lavalina leather sports steering wheel and the ‘Alpina’ door sills.
There are various other customization options available to buyers, should they choose to make their 2020 B3 feel more exclusive.
