The Porsche 911 Turbo S and Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder are two of the most accelerative cars on the planet, but which is the quickest?

On the one hand we have the Porsche. Powered by a 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged flat-six, the flagship 992-generation 911 pumps out 640 hp and sends its power to all four wheels through a quick-shifting dual-clutch PDK transmission.

By comparison, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder has a 631 hp, 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 that is also coupled to an all-wheel drive system and a dual-clutch transmission.

To find out which is the fastest, AutoTopNL have created this video to show the duo accelerating alongside each other. While testing the Porsche, the publication was able to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.84 seconds, which is a bit off the pace of what we have seen some other Turbo S models do but still a respectable time on a public road rather than a prepped drag-racing slab of tarmac.

By comparison, the Huracan hit 62 mph in 2.94 seconds. Accelerating up to 124 mph (200 km/h), the two remained neck and neck, with the Porsche hitting the mark in 8.94 seconds compared to the 9.52 seconds of the Lamborghini. The quarter-mile times of the two were also very close, with 10.42 seconds for the Porsche and 10.53 seconds for the Lamborghini.
