Lynk & Co has unveiled the Zero concept, ahead of its debut at the Beijing Auto Show later this week.
Designed to preview an upcoming production model, the Zero is an electric vehicle which is based on Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA).
Lynk & Co is keeping details under wraps, but the concept was designed at the company’s Gothenburg studio and resembles a hatchback version of the 03 sedan. However, it features improved aerodynamics thanks to a fully enclosed grille, flush-mounted door handles and modified bumpers.

We can also see streamlined bodywork, aerodynamically optimized wheels and a stylish greenhouse. Other notable features include full-width LED taillights, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a modest diffuser.
While the exterior closely echoes the 03, the cabin is all-new and features a flat-bottom steering wheel as well as a large infotainment system. We can also see a unique center console, leather-wrapped surfaces and what appears to be illuminated trim.
The Zero is Lynk & Co’s second concept and the company described it as a “first look” at how the brand will become a “leader in pure electric vehicles.” Additional information will be released at the show, but Lynk & Co said the concept will go into production next year and is slated to have a range in excess of 435 miles (700 km) in the NEDC cycle. The company also said the car will have over-the-air updates and a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of less than four seconds.
Lynk & Co’s parent company, Geely, also noted the SEA platform aims to be the “world’s first open source architecture.” As a result, it will shared with third-party manufacturers for use on their own electric vehicles.
