The Beijing Auto Show continues as Qoros has taken the wraps off the Milestone concept.
Featuring an edgy “Qubic Aesthetics” design, the concept embraces “emerging trends in the fields of digitalization, architecture and fashion.”
The Milestone is designed to appeal to Generation Z and features a distinctive front end with “four-corner daytime running lights.” The model also sports an illuminated Qoros logo.

The angular styling continues further back as there’s a long sloping hood and a rakish windscreen. The model also has aerodynamic wheels, camera mirrors and bodywork that is described as a “sexy curved surface.”
However, the car’s most notable feature is its sliding doors. Once activated by the gesture-controlled ‘handles’, the doors extend outwards before sliding to the outside edges of the car.
The four-door coupe measures 196.8 inches (5,000 mm) long, 78.7 inches (2,000 mm) wide and 55.1 inches (1,400 mm) tall. That makes the concept shorter and narrower than the Mercedes CLS, but almost the same length.
The company didn’t say much about the interior, but it features sliding front seats which can retract to cover the rear seats. This transforms the concept into a roomy two seater when it’s being driven autonomously.
Since people don’t have to focus on the task of driving, the concept has been equipped with a holographic projection system that turns the windshield into an entertainment system. It’s controlled by a detachable remote control which is mounted on the steering wheel.
