This is the 51st, and final, Zanardi Edition Acura NSX, built to commemorate Alex Zanardi’s CART titles with Honda in 1997 and 1998.
The car has been driven by AMA Superbike champion Miguel Duhamel for less than 12,000 miles (19,300 km) over the past two decades, and is now getting auctioned off through Bring a Trailer.
All Zanardi Edition NSX models are finished in New Formula Red and feature a fixed roof, lightweight rear spoiler, BBS wheels, manual rack-and pinion steering steering and a lightweight battery, cutting weight by about 149 lbs (68 kg) compared to a regular NSX-T of that era.

Other goodies include the forged BBS alloys measuring 16 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear, a firmer suspension than that of the regular NSX, and NSX-branded calipers with vented rotors on all wheels.
Moving on to the Onyx-colored interior, there are microsuede inserts for the power-adjustable seats, contrasting red stitching and black carpeting. The center console boasts a factory-standard cassette stereo, plus amenities like air conditioning and a titanium shift knob.
As for performance, this car has a 3.2-liter V6 VTEC unit that is good for 290 HP and 224 lb-ft (303 Nm) of torque, with everything going to the rear wheels through that six-speed manual and a standard limited-slip differential.
The NSX Zanardi Edition cost $84,745 when new, and this example is expected to sell for considerably more than that.
