There’s no shortage of ridiculously high-powered Chevrolet Camaros on the market right now, with Hennessey’s 1,000-hp Exorcist being the first that springs to mind.
It’s not the only one, though, as Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) also knows a thing or two about giving the humble Camaro Bugatti Veyron levels of power. The New Jersey-based second stage vehicle manufacturer has released the 2021 Yenko/SC Stage II Camaro that boasts 1,050 horsepower from 416 cu-in (6.8-liter) supercharged LT-1-based engine.
SVE will only build 50 of these Limited Edition Yenko/SC Stage II cars, which are based off the Camaro 1SS or 2SS with the 1LE option. According to the company, the latter is a must-have “to properly balance the awesome power of the 6.8-liter supercharged engine.”

More specifically, the 1LE package brings features like Magnetic Ride Control, electronic limited-slip differential, performance-tuned suspension with unique bushings, springs, and stabilizer bars, as well as a heavy-duty cooling system including an engine oil cooler, dual outboard radiators, transmission cooler, and a rear differential cooler.
Also part of the 1LE pack are the rear spoiler that pushes the rear end against the tarmac at speed and the Recaro Performance Seats that keep the driver and front passenger firmly in place during spirited driving.
Each of the 50 vehicles will be numbered and will include a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin. As with most of SVE’s cars, you can buy one from your local Chevrolet dealer in the U.S. and Canada on a first-come, first-served basis. Since it’s a factory-authorized conversion, the warranty remains untouched, with the 1,050-hp supercharged V8 backed by a three-year, 60,000-mile warranty.
Prices start at $69,995, but that sum does not include the donor car. With Chevrolet charging $38,495 for a Camaro 1SS (including a $995 destination fee) and $7,000 for the 1LE package, it means the Yenko/SC starts at a whopping $115,490. If you want the 2SS, you’ll have to fork out $120,490 – before options.
