Hyundai has just taken the covers off the 2021 Sonata N Line but continues to keep technical specifications about the car under wraps.
These official photos of the sporty sedan showcase a much more aggressive design than lesser Sonata models. With that in mind, the front end includes a new bumper with blacked-out air intakes and an aggressive lower front grille. There are also a pair of small decorative vents on the very edges of the bumper.

Hyundai has also fitted the 2021 Sonata N Line with two-tone silver and black 19-inch wheels as well as a set of unique side skirts. Styling changes continue at the rear and consists of a lip spoiler, quad tailpipes, a unique bumper, and a black diffuser.
Alterations continue in the cabin and includes signature N Line red stitching on the steering wheel and sport seats, various dark chrome trim, a Bose audio system, and various driving modes that are accessible through the infotainment system.
“The 2021 Sonata N Line will attract more customers to both the rock solid Sonata lineup and our increasingly popular N Line sub-brand,” head of the Hyundai Global Design Center SangYup Lee said in a statement. “Sonata N Line will appeal to customers who desire sporty styling in a sedan package.”
While Hyundai itself is remaining tight-lipped about what is going on beneath the skin of the new Sonata N-Line, it is widely believed that it features a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 290 hp and 311 lb-ft (421 Nm) of torque. This is the same engine as the Kia K5 GT and should be paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the front wheels.
