The Toyota Camry was always a reliable means of transportation, but not a car to get your heart racing – and certainly not one that owners would modify. However, that doesn’t mean a Camry can’t be transformed into someone’s dream ride.
This particular example is owned by Austin Lee Ingram out of Georgetown, Indiana and recently went viral over at Reddit. It could very well be the most, well, unique Camry we’ve ever come across.

This is an XV10 generation, which was built in the U.S. from 1991 through to 1996. It is one of the most plain iterations of the Camry and, to our eyes, one of the most boring. However, with a series of modifications, this one has been transformed into something that probably turns more heads on the roads of Indiana than a Lamborghini or a Ferrari.
The first thing that catches the eye are the fenders. The owner has used various U.S. license plates to form a set of flared front and rear wheel arch extensions. While these fenders are very strange (to put it mildly), they definitely do the job and accommodate a set of aftermarket wheels.
Elsewhere, the Camry has been equipped with a ducktail-style rear spoiler also made from license plates, and with the exception of the bumpers, all of the body panels have been intentionally rusted. As if that wasn’t enough, the owner has also removed the side windows and the rear window, and cut out a huge section of the roof. The exhaust has also been repositioned and exits directly out of the hood.
