The one-off Aston Martin Jet 2+2 Shooting Brake from Bertone is currently up for sale from a dealership in the UK.

It was back in 2013 that Bertone unveiled the Jet 2+2 Shooting Brake at the Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle is based around the Rapide and was introduced to celebrate 60 years of Aston Martin and Bertone collaborating together.

Powering the bespoke Jet 2+2 Shooting Brake is the Rapide’s naturally-aspirated 5.9-liter V12 engine rated at 470 hp. That may not seem like much when you consider all of the twin-turbocharged super sedans and super estates that are on the market but Aston’s famous V12 produces a howl that few other engines can match.

The car is up for sale through ClassicMobili and according to the selling dealer, the implementation of a Shooting Brake roof design has added significantly more headroom for rear-seat passengers. In addition, the car features a hydraulic lift tailgate and the rear seats can be automatically folded flat at the touch of a button. Making the Bertone all the more desirable are TV screens that those sitting at the rear can enjoy. The trunk has also been clad in black carpet with silver runners and black inlays.

Upfront, the cabin includes door panels with burl oak wood and controls for the glass roof that at the touch of a button, can be tinted to a dark shade of blue, much like the electrochromatic roof used by the McLaren 720S Spider.
