1994 BMW M5 Touring Is One Of Two In Santorini Blue

This 1995 M5 Touring might just be one of the finest used BMW M cars currently on the market.

Rolling out of the factory on December 9th, 1994, it was built for the German market and had one of the highest MSRPs of any E34-generation M5 Touring manufactured. Most notably, the M5 is finished in Santorini Blue, making it one of just two M5 Touring models ever built in that color.

Listed up for sale from Enthusiast Auto Group (EAG), the car was imported into the United States in 2000 and was first acquired by EAG in 2006. At the time, a no-expense-spared engine-out service was conducted and the 3.8-liter inline-six received new bearings, a timing chain replacement, new gaskets and a cylinder head refresh, and was also coupled with a new clutch and flywheel.

During this same service, EAG rebuilt the brake calipers as well as the front thrust arms, front control arms, urethane rear subframe bushings, rear pitman arms, and fitted a new windshield.

It’s not just the exterior paint finish that makes this M5 Touring special, as it also features a Lotus White Nappa leather interior with the dashboard, door handles, and upper door panels finished in Santorini Blue. The odometer reads 96,542 miles (155,369 km).

The S38B38 engine of later model year E34 M5s produces 335 hp and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
