With the new-gen Qashqai/Rogue Sport pushed back for next year, Nissan has updated the current iteration, adding the Midnight Edition to its Australian range.
Set to arrive at dealers in mid-November priced from AU$35,900 (equal to US$25,453), it features a model-specific makeover and can be ordered in Gun Metallic, Magnetic Red, Ivory Pearl, Vivid Blue and Pearl Black.
Some of the defining features of the Qashqai Midnight Edition include a glossy black grille and front and rear bumper blades, body-colored wheel arch moldings, glossy black side mirror caps and roof rails, darkened LED headlights and taillights and black 19-inch alloy wheels shod in 225/45 tires.

The illuminated kick plates greet occupants upon opening the doors, and inside, they will also find brushed black accents on the cards and dashboard, a black headliner, glossy black air vents, black leather accents on the steering wheel and gearshift lever, and Alcantara- and leather-wrapped seats. There’s also a 7-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system, alongside Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, DAB+ digital radio, Bluetooth and satellite navigation system with traffic monitoring.
Standard safety gear includes Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Intelligent Driver Alert, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking and Lane Departure warning.
