In September, and as a way to celebrate the continued success of the Acura RDX in recent years, the car manufacturer announced the limited-run RDX PMC Edition. It has now confirmed that prices will start at $51,000, with the first customer deliveries to begin on Thursday, October 29.

Acura will build just 360 examples of the RDX PMC Edition, with each to be hand-assembled at the automaker’s Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio. They will all be painted in Thermal Orange Pearl and combine the features of the RDX Advance Package with the aggressive and sporty styling cues of the RDX A-Spec.

As such, the limited-run RDX will feature gloss black 20-inch alloy wheels, a body color grille surround, black chrome exhaust finishers, and gloss black across the roof, side mirrors and door handles.

Acura is particularly proud of the Thermal Orange Pearl paint that features multiple base coats, a mid-coat of gold and orange mica, and four layers of clearcoat. According to the automaker, it takes five days to paint each vehicle.

A number of interior changes differentiate the RDX PMC Edition from other variants. These include color-matched orange stitching on the seats, center console, door panels, steering wheel, and floor mats. The SUV also comes with a 10.5-inch Head-Up Display, 16-way power Sport Seats with Ebony Milano leather and Ultrasuede, as well as a heated steering wheel, heated outboard rear seats and an individually numbered serial plate on the center console.
