The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released fuel economy figures for the 2021 Buick Envision.

Outfitted with GM’s LSY 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the updated Envision returns 22 mpg city, 29 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined with the nine-speed automatic transmission and optional all-wheel drive system. This engine is good for 230 hp and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque and is shared with the Cadillac XT4.

As GM Authority notes, fuel efficiency figures for the front-wheel drive variants of the Envision haven’t been released, but it is safe to assume FWD models will be a bit more efficient. By returning 25 mpg combined with all-wheel drive, the 2021 Envision is almost as fuel efficient as the smaller Encore that’s rated at 26 mpg combined with its smaller 1.4-liter turbocharged engine and all-wheel drive.
